Kitchen fire in Feniton

Firefighters were called to a kitchen fire in Feniton.

Two crews from Sidmouth and one from Ottery St Mary attended the incident in Winchester Close this morning (Wednesday).

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival crews confirmed a small fire in a saucepan. The fire was out on arrival and crews carried out an inspection of the property to confirm the safety of the building and occupiers.”
