Let the staff get on with their jobs, says reader

All Saints School

Archant

Row at All Saints “disturbing the day-to-day functioning of the school”.

The situation at All Saints School is clearly disturbing the day-to-day functioning of the school, which means that the staff are being placed under unnecessary pressure and the children are losing out.

It is the children and staff whose concerns are paramount and it discredits those who keep fanning the flames of discontent.

If Mrs Hollidge is “in a mess, in a bad way”, as a family friend has indicated (Midweek Herald, April 4), then she should not return to the school and it would be unkind to her, as well as the staff and children, to try to shoehorn her back in.

If and when she does recover, then the question of her return can be considered by the Local Authority and school management.

In the meantime, it would be helpful if those vocal parents, some of whom have not been involved with the school for very long, would just stop muddying the water and let the staff get on with the job of teaching and caring for the children.
