Pupils at Littletown Academy in Honiton swapped pens and paper for a rowing machine to raise money for the school’s gymnastics club.

Members of the Key Stage 2 school council and gymnastics club took part in the sponsored row last week, which saw them row a total of 19.33km.

So far £101 has been raised with more donations expected.

The money raised will be used to buy new leotards for the club.

The gymnastic club will be showcasing their skills next month at a competition in Taunton.
