Honiton and District Lions Club donates more than £329 to replace pre-school’s boiler.
A fund-raising organistaion in Honiton has stepped into to help Upottery Pre-school to replace it’s rusty water boiler.
Honiton and District Lions Club responded to a plea for help from the pre-school to replace the boiler, which heats all the water for the kitchen and toilet, after funds from the village did not quite cover the costs.
Lion Ed Prescud and Lion Roy Ward, wearing his lion costume, presented the pre-school with a cheque for more than £329 for the new boiler.
The club was also presented with a thank you gift from the pre-school.
