Lowest crime rates for more than six years.
Police have recorded the lowest crime rates for a single month in the Honiton rural area for more than six years.
The overall recorded crime for the month of November dropped from 14 in 2011 to only 3 in 2012.
Figures included a dwelling burglary in Awliscombe where entry was forced at a property whilst the occupants were out and jewellery stolen.
A motor vehicle was stolen in Offwell after it was left overnight in a lay-by on the A35 and there was an incident of theft in Yarcombe where a quantity of confectionary was stolen from commercial premises.
