Crew tows broken down boat to the safety of West Bay harbour
Two men aboard a broken down boat were rescued on Saturday evening (June 17) by the volunteer crew of Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat.
The boat suffered engine failure two miles south of West Bexington. The lifeboat towed the six metre vessel and its crew to the safety of West Bay harbour.The lifeboat launched at 8.45pm and returned to Lyme Regis harbour at 10pm.
