71 year old bailed to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates next month
A Lyme Regis pensioner is to appear before a court in Portsmouth next month in connection with the seizure of some 32 kilos of cannabis powder.
Robert Ian Coulson, aged 71, of Anning Road, was charged, on Friday, with one count of attempting to import drugs under the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979.
The charge relates to an incident on November 3 when some £64,000 worth of cannabis powder was allegedly seized from a car at the Portsmouth ferry terminal.
Mr Coulson was bailed to appear before magistartes on January 4.
