Man assaulted in Honiton

Police appeal for witnesses.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted at the Bowling Green in Honiton.

The incident happened on Sunday, June 15, at around 7.30pm.

A police spokesman said the suspects are described as a white male and female, who were both around 19, and of slim build.

The male was 5ft 9 with short dark hair and was wearing a green top and smelt of alcohol. The female was described as having blonde hair.

Anybody who may have witnessed the incident is urged to call police on 101 and quote crime reference number CR/081962/14.
