Purge on inappropriate parking after complaints by residents.

A purge on inappropriate parking in Streamers Meadows, Honiton, has seen a number of motorists “dealt with” by the authorities.

Councillor John Zarczynski, at a meeting of the town council last week, said: “Several motorists have been booked for incorrect parking.

“The situation has improved and vehicles causing an obstruction on the junction seem to have found alternative parking.”

This follows a meeting held by the Local Action Group to discuss problem parking.

He said letters had also been sent to all the residents affected.
