Former lifeboat remembered in the town’s carnival procession

Lyme Regis RNLI crew, along with friends and family members, ‘borrowed’ a lifeboat from their headquarters in Poole to take part in the town’s carnival procession on Saturday.

They dubbed the boat Pearl of Dorset, using the nameplate from the previous lifeboat which was ‘retired’ two years ago to be replaced by the current Spirit of Loch Fyne. Photo by John Cable
