Police are asking help to identify this man in connection with an incident of fraud in Honiton.


An image of a man police would like to speak to have been released following an incident of fraud in Honiton.

A force spokesman said they would like to speak to a man in connection with the incident, which occurred on January 2, between 12.30pm and 1.30pm in High Street.

A police spokesman said: “A man entered a pub and claimed he worked for a bedding store that was closing down.

“He offered to sell the victim bedding products for a cut-down price and took the £500 cash for the agreed items.

“He left a number of duvets at the premises but did not return with the rest of the items.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting CR/003428/18.
