Two men sought in connection with the theft of a wood burning stove from a demonstration trailer at Axminster

Police want to trace two men in connection with the theft of a wood burning stove at Axminster.

The fire was taken from a demonstration trailer at The Fireworks Arada industrial unit, on Weycroft Avenue, at Millwey Rise, at around midnight in the early hours of Thursday (November 8).

The stove model is an Esprit, it is made by Arada, and has the word Villager on it.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw two men in the area to contact them. They are particularly keen to speak to someone walking their dog nearby, at the time, who may have seen the suspects or their vehicle either at The Fireworks Arada premises, or at Axe Valley Motors next door.

Police are also asking anyone who has been offered any such item for sale to come forward.

They should call them on 101 and quote crime reference KA/12/574.
