Police in Honiton urge motorists not to drive without the appropriate licence or insurance.

A white Suzuki Vitara was seized by police on Sunday (January 27), after being stopped in Highfield Road, Dunkeswell, at 12.40pm.

The male driver, from the village, had his vehicle seized and removed off the road after he was suspected of driving with no licence, no insurance and an expired tax disc.

A police spokesman said: “For this offence, as well as the fine and points on your driving licence, it will also cost you to pay for the removal of the vehicle and another £12 a day for storage of the vehicle.

“The message is do not drive without the appropriate licence or insurance.”
