Pupils are Tatworth Primary School celebrated the harvest at a special assembly.

Speaking at the gathering, Reverend Tim Price focussed on the hard and difficult work of farmers in producing the crops, especially this year with the poor weather.

As always, parents supported the event with generous donations of harvest gifts.

Youngsters in Class 6 bagged up the gifts which were sold off at the end of the day to raise money for the Kenyan family which the School sponsors through Chard-based charity, ‘Action Aid’. A total of £80 was raised.
