Youngsters at All Saints Primary School publish their favourite recipes

Pupils at All Saints Primary School have been busy compiling their own cook book.

They have written and drawn pictures for 50 recipes which will be published by Axminster Printing.

The school held a competition for Year 6 pupils to design the front cover and winner Amy Hoare, age 10, received a £10 book token from Archway Bookshop. The runners up were Sophie Clist, 10, and Mindy Birnie Postin, 11.

The recipe book will go on sale in time for Mother’s Day.

Fairtrade Fortnight – the annual event to promote Fairtrade products – is now on in Exmouth. It runs until Sunday, March 8, and includes discounts in some shops and a visit from a Kenyan tea grower. Samples of Fairtrade products will also be in the town centre later in March.
