Children learn all about the animals who live at Pets at Home in Axminster

Youngsters from St Andrew’s Primary School in Chardstock have been learning all about animals.

Children from the early years group brushed up their studies with a visit to Pets at Home, in Axminster.

They enjoyed a shopping game to find items in the store and learnt about how to look after different animals, including a bearded dragon, and found out about what they eat.

The highlight of the visit was being able to pet some animals including a rabbit, hamster and guinea pig.
