Axminster Community Primary School stages a series of events to help Pudsey and his pals

Youngsters at Axminster Community Primary School raised £580 for Children in Need during a series of events last week.

The children held competitions, a big raffle, a cake stall and a non uniform day to collect money for the charity.

A spokeswoman at the school said: “It was a fantastic effort by everyone involved and our thanks go to the parents, children and friends of the school for their generous support.”
