Axminster Primary School youngsters find out about life in prehistoric times
Pupils from Axminster Community Primary School found out what life was like in the Stone Age when they travelled to Dartmoor.
The youngsters were taking part in a three day residential course at the Heatree Activity Centre, near Manaton.
The programme included several steep walks, including a tough six mile trek, Stone Age round house activities, pond dipping, a night walk and star gazing.
A spokeswoman at the school said it was an important part of the Year 6 calendar, helping to team build and cement bonds between the children.
