A Honiton estate agent is backing Hospiscare with a cake sale this Thursday.

Staff at Stags are hoping customers will be choosing more than one slice of cake, as they dispense with their ubiquitous tweed in favour of aprons and mixing bowls.

These budding bakers are challenging each other in true ‘Bake Off’-style to produce the ‘best bake’ with TV and radio presenter Judi Spiers providing her judging expertise in true Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry style.

Customers are urged to join them for a tea/coffee and the opportunity to sample their efforts on Thursday morning at Stags High Street offices, from 10am.

A spokesman said: “Donations to Hospiscare will be most gratefully exchanged for slices of a cornucopia of sweet delights!”
