Knitting needles were at the ready in Honiton to raise awareness of fuel poverty amongst the elderly.

The rector, the Reverend Sue Roberts, braved the cold outside St Paul’s Church, armed with her knitting needles, to raise money for Age UK’s Bobble Day last Friday.

Members of the congregation also joined in to support the initiative.
