More than 120 people dress up as Father Christmas for a festive stroll around the resort
A sackful of Santas took to the streets of Seaton on Sunday.
The town was snowed under as more than 120 peeople dressed as Father Christmas for a colourful stroll around the resort.
The first Seaton Santa Saunter, co-organised by the town development team and Axe Valley Runners GrizFest team, was voted a huge success.
Sponsored by East Devon Sports Therapy Clinic and The Midweek Herald it was supported by the town ocuncil and attracted people of all ages.
The Saunter kicked off with a zumba, courtesy of Johanna Morgan Dance Fit, before the entrants were set off by town crier David Craner and town councillor Val Christmas.
Along the route Santas could be seen having tea with the mayor, doing tai chi, gardening, tobogganing, watching out for ships, playing the melodian, washing windows and handing out sweets.
The raffle in aid of CHSW raised over £80 for the charity. Plans are already in place for next year’s saunter.
