Police say 85-year-old Cyril Smith appears to have been trapped between two cars in tragic accident
An elderly man who died after a collision involving two vehicles in Seaton on Monday has been named as Cyril Smith.
Following inquiries, police say the 85-year-old victim, who lived locally, is thought to have died after being trapped between the two cars.
The dead man had been driving a blue Nissan Primera and the other vehicle involved was silver Mini Cooper. It is understood the incident happened in a car park off Colyford Road, Seaton.
