Girls turn out in their new uniforms to accompany Father Christmas to his Exeter grotto

Seaton Majorettes provided a colourful escort for Santa when he arrived in Exeter at the weekend.

The girls gave an impressive display of their marching skills before accompanying him to his Christmas grotto in the Guildhall shopping centre on Saturday morning.

Later they gave another demonstration of their impressive baton twirling on Exeter Cathedral Green.

The Majorettes, who attend Santa’s visit to Exeter every year, turned out in their new season costumes which they have bought through fund-raising and local sponsorship.
