Axminster town centre was sealed today (Sunday, April 27) after guttering crashed into the street.

The incident happened outside Martins Newsagents, in Victoria Place, and police were quickly on the scene to keep people and traffic away from the area.

Local firefighters used ladders to make the building safe.

It is understood that no one was hurt.
