STUDENTS from Sidmouth College met East Devon MP, Hugo Swire, pictured, on Friday and heard him talk about his role as a Member of Parliament and as a Minister in the coalition Government.

They then took part in a lively question and answer session.

Mr Swire said: ““I always enjoy engaging with students and come away impressed and encouraged by the levels of interest and knowledge young people have in politics today.

“This visit was no exception and I look forward to coming again.”
