Russian State Dance Ensemble of Stavropol presents RUSSIAN COSSACKS performed to a live orchestra on Thursday, March 7, at 7.30pm.

300 costumes, 40 world-class performers in UK venues for over 50 days and 1,000 litres of vodka can only mean one thing - fun. With original choreographies, this company of artists from ballet, orchestral and choir have previously performed all over the world. The Cossacks’ fiery dances and songs are as true and honest as the souls of their country folk. Particular attention has been paid to the detail of the Cossacks’ wonderfully traditional and elaborate costumes. The highlight of this spectacular show is the Great Cossack Dance for which special sabres have been made of titanium, ensuring sparks really do fly. Come and witness the glowing vitality and immense warmth to live a Russian Cossack’s life, if only for a night.

Tickets are priced at £19 and £17 and are available at the Exmouth Pavilion Box office on 01395 222477 or visit the website on to book your tickets online.

The Journal has a pair of tickets for this magical evening to give away. All you have to do is answer the following question:

Please send your answers on a postcard with your address and a daytime phone number to:

Cossack Competition, Features sub-editor, Archant South West, Fair Oak Close, Exeter Airport Business Park, Clyst Honiton, Nr Exeter EX5 2UL.
