Lucky shoppers were treated to a surprise windfall courtesy of The Honiton Foundation.

Ten envelopes containing £10 were dotted around the Co-operative in Lace Walk by the group last Saturday. David Foster, of The Honiton Foundation, said: “This was just something from The Honiton Foundation to brighten up people’s day.”

He thanked the Co-operative’s staff for their support.

The Honiton Foundation was set up to support local good causes and groups. It will be holding further events in the future.
