The good, the bad and the moles

Moles continue to cause trouble at the Millennium Green in Honiton.

Moles are continuing to cause trouble at the Millennium Green in Honiton, it has been revealed.

However, Councillor Les Lunt reported to the town council last week that “considerate” dog owners have helped to resolve the problem of dog faeces at the green.

He said: “The green is looking good and tidy.”

Councillor Lunt explained that some complaints from the public had been received regarding signage and the Millennium Green Committee had also expressed its disappointment at the level of grant given by the town council.

He also said that repairs were being carried out to the fences along with shrub and tree pruning and thining.

The meeting also heard that problems concerning under-age drinking and littering had been flagged up.
