Honiton Twirlstars show their support for Jamie’s hoist appeal.

Honiton Twirlstars treated shoppers in the town to a thrilling Hallowe’en themed extravaganza in aid of Jamie’s hoist appeal.

Following the special performance last Thursday, the majorettes held a collection and raised £120 for a specialist ceiling hoist and disabled changing bench needed at Honiton Swimming Pool.

Nine-year-old Jamie Dyer, among others, needs the facilities to continue to use the pool.

Jamie suffers from cerebral palsy and needs the equipment to ensure he is able to continue his physiotherapy sessions.

Dawn Enticott from Honiton Twirlstars thanked everyone for their generous support.

The Twirlstars also enjoyed a fantastic disco to end the day in high spirits, despite the bad weather.

The appeal has gathered huge support and half of the money needed for the equipment has already been raised.

Jamie would like to thank everyone for their overwhelming support so far and also thanked the Twirlstars for braving the bad weather to raise money for the appeal.
