Two trapped after Honiton road traffic accident

The collision involving two cars happened on Battishorne Way

Firefighters freed two people trapped in a car after a two vehicle collision on Battishorne Way, Honiton, at around 12.45pm yesterday (Thursday, March 15).

Crews from Honiton and Ottery St Mary were sent to the scene.

On arrival they confirmed that two casualties were physically trapped in one of the vehicles. Fire crews worked alongside paramedics to release the casualties using stabilisation equipment, triple ext ladder and small tools. Duty of care was left with the police and ambulance.
