Fire in engine compartment of the vehicle.
Firefighters were called to reports of a vehicle fire in Honiton.
The incident at Exeter Road occurred yesterday (Tuesday) at 5.53pm.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews confirmed that there was a car on the public highway with a small fire in the engine compartment.
“Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet.”
