STAFF and pupils at Stockland Church of England Primary School are celebrating today after every aspect of life at the school was judged 'outstanding' by inspectors.The school standards agency Ofsted said the overall effectiveness of Stockland Church of England Primary School was outstanding and so were the pupils' achievement and standards, their personal development and well-being, the quality of provision and the leadership and management."This is an outstanding school that provides its pupils with a wide range of very stimulating and exciting learning experiences," said Ofsted inspector Melvyn Hemmings."All pupils benefit from an ethos that cherishes them as individuals and is committed to each child achieving their full potential."Headteacher Steve Clarke was also praised for his leadership in the report and said: "I am very lucky to have such a talented staff who work hard for the children."We receive fantastic support from everyone in the community and I feel that all connected with school can take an immense amount of pride in the conclusion the inspector reached."The report continued: "The pupils happily take on responsibility in school and make a positive impact on village life. "They understand the need to eat healthily and take regular exercise and a large majority of them take part in the many extra-curricular sporting activities."They are acquiring an outstanding preparation for their future lives.
