The residents shared their memories of World War Two with the GCSE pupils, who were also able to take a look at some pictures, old newspapers and other items from that era.

They also enjoyed a taste of wartime life with a delicious meal of rabbit pie. The event was held to coincide with the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
