Weather keeps trick or treaters away

Those who ventured out in Honiton ‘deserved a treat’.
Hallowe’en revellers deserved a treat this year, according to members of the Northcote Lane Area Residents’ Association.
Addressing the association’s annual meeting last night (Thursday), a day after Hallowe’en, re-elected chairman Ken Sherman announced: “Good news! I only had five trick or treaters knock on my door last night.”
Secretary Lizzie Manley said: “Those children deserved a treat this year - for going out in that weather.”
