Witness appeal following pub assaults

A 46-year-old man and 45-year-old woman injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses following two assaults in a Honiton pub.

The incident occurred at the Three Tuns on Saturday, February 8, at 11.30pm.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “A 46-year-old man suffered slight bruising to both eyes in an assault at around 11.30pm inside the pub.

“Two men, a 20-year-old and an 18-year-old, were later arrested on suspicion of assault. They remain on police bail while enquiries continue.

“A 45-year-old woman also suffered slight injury after she was assaulted.”

Police say a 21-year-old woman was also arrested and remains on police bail.

Anyone who was in the pub around the time of the incident who may have witnessed anything is urged to call Devon and Cornwall Police quoting KH/14/96 and KH/14/104. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
