22-year-old sustains cuts to her head during the incident in Honiton.
DETECTIVES in Honiton are investigating after a woman was injured when an object was thrown at her in the street.
The Midweek Herald understands that the 22-year-old local woman was struck by the object in New Street at around 10.30pm on Saturday (October 27).
It is not certain what the object was, but Devon and Cornwall Constabulary said it could have been a bottle.
A spokesman said the woman sustained cuts to her head.
She was taken to hospital for treatment.
