A woman wanted by police on suspicion of fraud and theft offences could be hiding out in East Devon.

Joann Kathline Wood, 56, was last known to have caught a bus to Exeter after leaving a bed and breakfast establishment in Weymouth.

She is being sought by Sussex Police in connection with the theft of property from an address in Angmering, as well as allegations that she defrauded individuals out of sums totalling more than £9,000,

There have been no sightings of Wood since November 30 when she is believed to have travelled to Exeter.

Detective Constable Jane Mills, of West Sussex CID, said; “We are working with other forces to find Jo Wood and if anyone has any information as to where she may now be, we ask them to contact us via 101, quoting serial 0502 of 2 October.
