To celebrate her birthday, Carolyn Nation got a few fellow AVR lady members to join her at the Killerton Parkrun, writes Dave Mutter.

Post race, the group celebrated her birthday in the Killerton House cafe with coffee and cake.

Jon Day was an honorary lady for the day and finished 14th, with a new Parkrun PB of 20:08, Janet Woodward was 292nd in 36:52, Denise Burges 294th, 36:58, Shirly Salter 297th, 37:16 while birthday girl Carolyn Nation was 298th in 37.52. Gill Day was 299th, 37:23, Sam Summers 307th, in 38.04 and Vicky Austin 308th in 38.04.

All loved the off-road course as it’s mainly all downhill; it’s a PB course when nice and dry and cow-free!
