AVR’s Jake Smith in fine run at South West cross-country championships

AVR athlete Jake Smith was second U20M in the SW (England Athletics) cross-country championships held at Aldon Hill, Yeovil, writes Dave Mutter.

He was only narrowly beaten by junior international Luke Prior from Aldershot Farnham and District.

Caitlin Smith was 12th in the U15G and Chet Gillespie was 11th in the U17M.
