AVR runners do well at Fulfords 5 event in Exmouth

PUBLISHED: 16:24 04 February 2014 | UPDATED: 16:24 04 February 2014

There was AVR presence in last weekend’s Fulfords 5 event run in Exmouth, writes Dave Mutter.

Carol Austin was third lady over 50 and 91st overall out of 261 finishers.

She completed in 34:54 (78 per cent ) which proved to be a personal best for the five mile distance!

Sue and Mike Venn also ran with the former finishing third over 60 lady, 203rd overall in 44:40 and the latter, who is usually just spectating, finishing 252nd in 51:38.

Both were rightly really chuffed with their performance.
