AVR runners Maggie Hunt and Carol Austin in first three of Grizzly Cub Run

The Grizzly 9-mile cub run was won by Jez Mancer from Benfleet RC in 1:05:22, writes Dave Mutter.

AVR’s Andrew Watson was second and Matthew Atkins from Haldon Trail Runners took third.

Maggie Hunt of Fetch Everyone RC was the first lady, 13th overall.

AVR’s Rebecca Platt and Carol Austin were second and third ladies. Paul Johns was 14th, Matt Morbey 23rd, Richard Hale 31st, James Sibley 47th, Rhea Lawrence 93rd, Helen Eke 95th, Janet Cullum 181st, Chantelle Osborne 187th, Beth Sibley 198th, Natalie Wakelin 227th, Marilyn Hughes 236th, Michael Barry 246th, Amie Sibley 248th, Tim Sibley 249th, Julie Rowe resplendent in cow costume 273rd and Liz Thomas 286th. Dave Mutter and Dave Braunton ran a mixture Grizzly and cub routes.
