Axminster Indoor Bowling Club have now completed their fixtures for 2012, writes David Harris.

There was an excellent victory for the ladies in the Devon Foxlands League (80-65) with wins on all four rinks.

The home rinks of Phil White, Pam Clark, Marion Harris, and Sheila Martin (22-14) and Lilian Lovatt, Alison Glyde, Ann Clayton, and Nola Stephens (17-12) and the away rinks of Brenda Edwards, Daphne Ryan, Kay Smith, and Margaret Crompton (21-20) and Sheila Cox, Diana Courtenay-Smith, Hazel Smith, and Chris Barber (20-19).

The Ladies then narrowly lost a friendly at home to Devon County Ladies Indoor Bowling Association (52-58) with wins for Pam Hunter, Jean Kesterton, and Margaret Crompton (19-14) and Lilian Lovatt, Pauline Knight, Alison Glyde, and Ann Clayton (18-16).

In the mixed friendlies we beat Donyatt at home (61-50) with wins for Margaret Brown, Pam Clark, Ann Clayton, and Margaret Crompton (24-19) and Lilian Lovatt, John Hill, Daphne Ryan, and Marion Harris (19-12).

The match at Yeovil was lost 51-64 with a winning rink of John Hill, Ann Clayton, Mike Knight, and Neil Solomon (23-15).
