Wayne Tooze was next AVR to finish in 37:48, then James Sibley in 38:21, Steven Lewis 39:08 and Gavin Warren came in smiling taking 40:04. There was a photo-finish as Anna McLoughlin was chased to the line by Margaret Pearce as they both recorded 40:55. The second event was a one-lap, 2.5 mile Junior Race and Fun Run won by AVR Jacob Clode in 12:56. He was hotly pursued by Iain Ross of Honiton RC, 13:07, followed by Joel Gibson, 13:15.
