Archant

Honiton suffered a fifth defeat in six D Division outings and remain rooted to the bottom of the table.

For the second week running they were shot out for less that 100, this time by visiting Filleigh.

Batting first Honiton limped to an all out total of 67 with only skipper Rob Ingram providing much of a rear guard action, top scoring with 20.

The North Devon side made light work of the run chase, losing just two wickets.

Both the visiting wickets were snared by Kev Kelly.

On Saturday Honiton travel to an Ashburton side that sit fourth six places and 36 point better off than the Mountbatten Park side.
