Archant

Seaton were good value for their seven wicket win over Clyst St George.

The star of the show was undoubtedly Joe Berry who bowled a superb spell that saw him take four wickets for 15 runs and, at one stage he claimed three wickets in four balls and it was that sequence which swung the game dramatically in Seaton’s favour.

Clyst St George were bowled out for 126 with Ben Libby the pick of the supporting acts with the ball claiming two wickets for 21 runs.

Facing a low total the run chase was led in some style by Mark Bray with an unbeaten 66 and the 22 point haul leaves Ben Morgan’s side sitting sixth with 104 points, 13 behind third I the table Uplyme.

On Saturday Seaton make the short trip to Honiton to play for the first time since the sudden and desperately sad passing of team mate Ryan Walker.
