Junior Golf: The Lyme Regis junior section now has no fewer than 9 players in the Dorset Junior Academy. A situatiojn unique amongst the Dorset golf clubs. This is due mainly to the hard work of club professional Duncan Driver who, withe assistance of current club chairman Jim Allan and a number of other club volunteers put in their time on a Saturday morning to encourage and assist the youngsters in their first steps towards becoming profficient golfers.
With the various junior teams expertly coached by club Steward much has been achieved inb recent years to enable many of the youngsters on the path to fulfilling their golfing potential. Duncan also fulfils the role of head coach to the Dorset Academy.
