Thank goodness for a dry day that enabled the Tuesday Mixed Competition to take place, writes Andy Wagner.

The format was Treble Six with 32 members playing. The winners with 38pts on c/b were Jan Dickinson and seniors’ vice-captain Bill Eaton.

Second place, also with 38pts, were Carole Booth and Max Pipe and third were Sue Ritchie and seniors’ captain Bob Underwood with 37pts.

Fourth place, with 36pts on c/b, went to Maureen Tollemache and Paul Witton.
