The town currently has two successful teams playing in the Exeter and District Basketball league.

The club is keen to take things to the next stage and introduce girls and women to this fast-growing, fun and active sport.

Sessions will start on Friday January 10, 2014, at the Exmouth College Sports Hall.

Sessions will run from 6 to 7pm with a cost of £2 per session and all girls and women from 14 to 40 are very welcome to get along.

The objective of these sessions are to develop individual skills and introduce

team play in one hour sessions, including both enjoyment and success with fun

games and awards. It is also excellent for fitness. Beginners and experienced

players are all welcome.

If successful, a squad could be formed to train further and play against other

teams.
