In the conclusion two players were way ahead of the field - both returning nett 68s. The winner on countback was Tony Strong (9) with Neil Moorcraft (22) having to settle for second place. Third with a 72 nett was Rob Heard (14). There were five twos from Keith Wilson, David Bruce, Rob Heard, Alan Vincent and Don Lee.

●This Sunday was round five of the men’s Winter League Competion. First place went to Mike Cottam and Brian Waller with 39 points. In second place were Michael Davis and Andrew Abrahams with 38 points and in third place Steve Anning and Richard Gibbons with 37. The only two of the day was scored by Martin Cox on the l4th.

●Due to an extremely foggy start to Wednesday, the Ladies postponed their Winter League Competition and played a nine hole Stableford.

The winner for the second week following was Liz Wheeldon with a very respectable 19 points.
