Archant

Honiton Town 0, Feniton 4

Honiton Town Under-11s were guilty of failing to find a finishing touch to some neat approach play as they slipped to a derby defeat.

In stark contrast to their previous performance Town were subdued from the kick-off and their slow start handed the initiative to the visitors and allowed them to race into a three-goal lead. Honiton improved in the latter stages of the first half,, but were unable to net.

After the break Town continued to compete all over the pitch. They passed the ball very well, but were again unable to finds a finish to match some impressive approach play.

Feniton added a fourth late on.

Players to stand out were Caleb Freemantle, who lead the forward line well, plus Matthew Ward with some accurate passing and crosses; there was also the usual all-action display from the tireless birthday boy, Ben Spence.
